As usual, it has been a very busy term for Year 4. The first half of the term was mainly spent preparing for and sitting the Welsh Assembly National tests, with not much time available to fully embrace our new topic – ‘999 Emergency.’ But we’ve tried to make up for lost time by cramming as much as possible into our last half term.

 

The children have enjoyed learning about the emergency services this term. In the first half term we had a visit from Mr Mathias a fire officer. Mr Mathias spoke to the children about the fire service and he went into detail about the different services they provided. The children thoroughly enjoyed and asked some really interesting questions. Mr Morgan even got to try on the fireman’s uniform. He didn’t want to take it off!
