In ICT we've used the internet for a lot of topic related research. We've discussed internet safety with the children and how we use a range of reading skills, such as skimming and scanning to find relevant information to use in their work. We've also used J2E to practise skills such as importing images from online sources, retrieving work and editing our writing. The children are now all active users of Bug Club. They have been using the program in school during our guided reading sessions and they have also been accessing it from home.
