This half term we would like to choose a member of you family or a family friend to interview. The focus of this interview should be life in one of the following decades: 1950’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s or 90’s. We’d like you to record a video of this on an IPad and upload them to HWB or you could write their responses to your questions down to share these with the class. We will be sharing your interviews during the last week before half term (18th-22th February). When you’ve chosen your interviewee, think about the type of questions you could ask. We’ve given you some suggestions below.
What was life like for a child in the…..?
What kind of food did you eat?
What did you do in your free time?
What was there to do when you were younger?
Where did you spend your free time with your friends?
What sort of toys did you play with?
What was school like?
Did you go away on holidays or trips?
Do you remember any important events?
What TV / music did you enjoy?
What was the fashion?
What technology did you have when you were younger?
Maths homework will still be given out every other week.
Is it still expected that you will practise your spelling and reading every week.
