Homework

  • Maths or Literacy homework will be set every Thursday afternoon, to be completed over the weekend and the following week. This will take the form of interactive games and reading on Bug Club, which will be monitored by class teachers.

 

Reading

  • Please encourage your child to read regularly and make a record of this in their reading record.  Reading books need to be returned daily.
  • Reading books are to come to school Monday morning and will be sent home Tuesday afternoon.

 

Handwriting

  • All children are taught a cursive handwriting style as part of our school handwriting policy. Please practice this regularly at home.

 

P.E.

  • Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear to school on Monday for Mrs Austin-Davies’ class.

 

Forest School

  • Forest school will occur each fortnight on a Thursday morning and is taught by Mrs Santimano. Please ensure your child wears appropriate clothing and footwear suitable for weather conditions.

 

Water & Snacks

  • As part of our healthy school approach, please provide your child with a water bottle (water only) and a healthy snack.
