  •  Creative tasks may be set to link with class topics.

Reading

  • Please encourage your child to read regularly at home, bedtime stories, trips to the library, songs/rhymes and the C.A.P.E.R books and reading records provided by school are a good place to start.  Reading with children in their early years is crucial because it builds a foundation for their language acquisition, cognitive development and literacy skills.  reading enhances vocabulary, comprehension, and concentration while also fostering imagination, empathy and a lifelong love of learning.
  • Please write in their reading record, regular communication between school and home will help them to make good progress with their reading skills.
