- Creative tasks may be set to link with class topics.
Reading
- Please encourage your child to read regularly and make a record of this in their reading record.
Handwriting
- In Reception we begin learning cursive handwriting style as part of our school handwriting policy. Please practice this regularly at home. If you require any support with this then contact your child’s teacher.
P.E.
- Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear to school on Thursday. It is taught weekly by Mr Beynon.
Forest School
- Forest school will occur on a three week rotation on Thursday afternoons. Please ensure your child has a pair of wellies in school to use during their forest school sessions. They can come to school on Mondays wearing joggers and suitable warm clothing for outdoor sessions. They will need to bring a coat that is suitable for the weather conditions.
Dinner Money
- As part of the Universal Primary free school meal provision your child is entitled to school meals. The school office can help with information regarding Impact Pay accounts.
Water & Snacks
- As part of our healthy school approach, please provide your child with a healthy snack each day. The children enjoy snack together during our morning play.
