Our Week

Homework

• Maths or Literacy homework will be set every Friday afternoon, to be completed over the weekend and the following week. The homework given will reflect what has been learned in class that week.  

Reading

• Please encourage your child to read regularly and make a record of this in their reading record.  Reading books need to be brought in daily as independent reading takes place daily. 

Handwriting

• All children are taught a cursive handwriting style as part of our school handwriting policy. Please practice this regularly at home.

P.E.

• Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear to school on Thursday.

Water & Snacks

• As part of our healthy school approach, please provide your child with a water bottle (water only) and a healthy snack.

• We will update Twitter/X (@PontarddulaisSc) using the hashtag #BontBlwyddyn34 regularly with our experiences, activities and learning from across the school. Our whole school ethos is reflected, and you can keep abreast of your child’s learning and progress.
